Ennerdale Valley

Ennerdale is often reffered to as the remotest valley in the Lake District and this is quite possibly true. Over the milenia this valley has been carved by glaciers but today only the little river Liza flows down to Ennerdale Water beyond the peaks.
The fells that line the valley are some of the highest in the Lake District. On the south side is Pillar with Haystacks and the High Stile to the north.
